FELIX SOLINGEN GMBH is one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the world. FELIX has been making unique knives since 1790. They are second to none in quality, function and design. They are some of the best handmade knives in the world. FELIX-knives won the Gold iF Product Design Award for one of the most attractive products worldwide as well as the Red Dot Design Award.
FELIX only uses premium raw materials. Due to the homogenous and compact grain structure of the steel’s microstructure the blades guarantee flexibility, resistance to corrosion and great edge retention. A FELIX-knife goes through about 45 different procedures before it leaves the factory. Most of them are by hand. The complex knowledge of traditional production and precise workmanship is visible in every FELIX-knife. But above all it is tangible.
Quality starts with the raw material. FELIX only uses premium raw materials such as high-alloyed X50 CrMoV15 chromium molybdenum vanadium steel, Japanese VG10 multi-layer Damascus steel or X65 CR13 razor blade steel.
